My iPod died, again. You know the sad ’smiley’ face that comes up when you try to power up the iPod?

Yea, it decided to frown at me again.

I chanced upon the iPod slapper method the last time I googled for solutions. It’s basically a method where you place the iPod face down on your left palm, then use your right hand to slap the back of the iPod with good force. Then just power on, and voila! If it doesn’t work the first time, try the second then third. Don’t overdo it though…

Sounds ridiculous but it worked, not once, but TWICE!

I’ve heard about this iPod slap method before, but I’ve never had to use it. After trying to use the 5 R’s recommended by Apple I came across the slap method I had forgot about and it worked! Oddly amazing.
